Zip Books

Your Library Delivered!

Zip Books is a way to request books unavailable in Marin County Libraries by having the item shipped to you directly. 


Requirements:  


  • A MARINet account in good standing. 
  • Only request items not in the MARINet catalog. 
  • The cost must be under $50. 
  • Item can be a book, audiobook, or large print book. 
  • Item must be available through Amazon. 
  • No pre-order items. 
  • One request at a time.  
  • To order another book, you must return the one you have. 
  • The library will have final decision on ordering or adding to the collection. 

 

How to Order and Return a Zip Book: 


  2. Step 1: Fill out Zip Book Request Form 

  2. Step 2: Staff will email or call with an estimated delivery 

  2. Step 3: Return the book to the Larkspur Library with a note that it is a Zip Book
