About the Library
Larkspur Public Library is a small public library serving the community of Larkspur, California. The library has been in its current location since it first opened in 1913, and echoes the small-town charm of the City of Larkspur. Celebrating its centennial year of service to Larkspur, the library shares a rich history with the City of Larkspur. For more information, visit the Larkspur Library History Page.
The Larkspur Public Library seeks to enrich the lives of its community by providing the library resources and services needed to fulfill their information, recreational and cultural interests; to act as a responsive resource for independent, lifelong learning; to provide a comfortable space and opportunities to gather and connect, and by fostering a love of reading.
