    Laura Wilson Hill, Printmaker

I was introduced to printmaking four years ago while studying under local artist, Leslie Katz. I have immersed myself in the process, working on an etching to create original monotype prints.
In my flower series, I want to evoke the immediacy and memory of nature's beauty by revealing recognizable forms through varied patterns of colors and shapes.
I have been a resident of Larkspur for over 25 years. In addition to being a life long student of the arts, I have also had a career in the commercial interior design industry.
You can see more of my work on Sunday, May 26th, when I will be exhibiting at the Larkspur Flower and Food Festival.
