Historic Larkspur Walking Tours - Centennial Edition
HISTORIC DOWNTOWN
Although Larkspur's downtown includes buildings and sites spanning more than 150 years of activity, this special Centennial tour will emphasize the lingering echoes of Larkspur as it was in 1908. Many of today's commercial buildings on Magnolia Avenue were established during the 1890s and 1920s. The tour roams around and into selected buildings, the Rose Bowl and the old train station.

HISTORIC BALTIMORE-MADRONE CANYON Baltimore Canyon's recorded history starts with a Gold Rush company that established a lumber mill there. Started as a lively logging camp, the canyon was gradually developed by summer vacationers and colorful residents. This walk highlights the lumber mill's location, the architecture of turn-of-the-century homes, some campsites of the 1900s, and the unique redwood forest setting that made "Larkspur Canyon" a popular summer destination for more than a century.
