Wednesday, August 19, 2020

19 Years In Orbit (and counting) - What's Up At The International Space Station? The ISS is the current home of SpaceX's recently-launched astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken - come find out more about their work, the amazing achievments of the project, the out-of-this-world effects of life in weightlessness, and more in a free Zoom presentation by NASA Solar System Ambassador Ron Rosano, sponsored by Larkspur Library. Circling the Earth at over 17,000 MPH and continuously occupied since November 2000, the International Space Station is one of the world's greatest examples of international cooperation. This event is made possible by the Friends of the Larkspur Library.
