The Larkspur Library hasinternet stations available for use by patrons, as well as Wi-Fi. Our internet stations are PCs. They have the following software loaded on them:
Windows Media Player
Paint.net (an image editor similar to MS Paint)
We have headphones for listening to music or videos, and the stations also have USB ports for thumb drives. Printing is available for 15 cents per page.
A library card is not necessary to use our computers. If you use a library card, you can reserve the computers for an hour; without a card the time limit is 30 minutes.
Please note that to protect patron privacy, all files are deleted from the computer at the end of a session. To avoid losing your work, be sure to make sure you save it somewhere off the computer (on your thumb drive, cloud or emailed to yourself) when you have five minutes remaining.
We have free Wi-Fi available to patrons. The network is called “Midas”, and there is no password.
