Library History
The Library is one of the main focal points of downtown Larkspur community and features unique collections of books that draw patrons from neighboring towns. The library's collection size is approximately 51,000.
The Library was founded in 1913 by the Larkspur Women's Improvement Club, spearheaded by Belle C. Brown.
The Library staff, Board, Foundation and Friends are committed to improving library service while keeping the library's small-town charm alive for all patrons to enjoy.
