EACH CITY-MAINTAINED street is swept monthly. For street-sweeping purposes, the city is divided into four sections plus a fifth category consisting of main streets throughout the city. Street sweeping of alternating sections is done on Tuesdays as follows:
- Section 1: 1st Tuesday of the month
- Section 2: 2nd Tuesday of the month
- Section 3: 3rd Tuesday of the month
- Section 4: 4th Tuesday of the month
- Main streets: every Friday
From October through January, the streets in each of the four sections are swept twice a month per the following schedule:
- Section 1: 1st Tuesday & 3rd Thursday
- Section 2: 4th Thursday of the month
- Section 3: 3rd Tuesday & 1st Thursday
- Section 4: 4th Tuesday & 2nd Thursday
- Main streets: every Friday
